Close Your Eyes and Remember

It started out as a Drabble *100 words max*...then it began to grow in my mind...I don't know where this is going...I don't even know WHO the subjects are ...yet...could be JR and Sue Ellen *from Dallas*...might not be...not sure yet...because I can also feel strong Alan and Monica vibes in this...anyway thought I'd share it...maybe I'll be inspired to keep going with it.

Taking a moment for herself, she slowly blew out the air that seemed to be caught inside her. Sitting at her desk, she leaned back, closed her eyes and remembered. Images of time passed by explored her mind leaving footprints behind. Images so vivid that she could hear conversations she had with him and feel how he seemed to mold around her when he’d hold her close. And when she inhaled, she swore she could smell the fantastic scent of him. In her mind, he was real. He was there. And she refused to open her eyes, if only for a moment longer, because she had to taste him. Her mouth pursed out as if to capture his and she wrapped her arms around herself and held on tightly as tears slowly began to fall down perfectly blushed cheeks. She exhaled and opened her eyes again. Reality set in and she acknowledged that the main thing she remembered when she closed her eyes was that, she missed him.

That was so awesome! You couple feel the palpable longing she had for him. Brava. I totally loved it! It was very bittersweet romantic. sportsfan
