January Drabble Challenge Entries

Post  LexCorinthos on Sat Jan 17, 2009 8:51 am

Entry #1: Adriana

Born to a teenager, who couldn't keep her. She was adopted to a family that never really wanted her, her childhood was taken. Her young eyes saw what no youngster should ever see.

The pain from the loss she suffered was heart piercing, the death of her child. The babies entire life was erased before it started. Firsts of everything, vanished into thin air.

The love of her life, her rock... threw her aside when she needed him the most.

She's had her share of pain. Yet, she is everything a woman should be.

Entry #2: AlexisDavisFanFirst

He sat in a car across the street from the district attorney’s office, watching as she strode down the stairs of the building.

She took his breath away.

He deeply regretted leaving without saying goodbye, without explanation but it was necessary to do so to keep her safe. He wanted to go to her in the worst way, knew he couldn’t….yet. His putting her first despite his own pain and feelings convinced him without a doubt that he loved her. He drove off knowing he would go to her one day when he knew it was safe to do so

Entry #3: Tim

All his life he had lived outside the law. A few warnings weren't gonna stop him from going after his golden haired beauty. No matter the cost they would be together! Life was far too short to fail even if he was pushed aside by his own family because of her. She was the daughter of the town legends. Time and time again she was told to stay away but she followed her heart. The good girl with bad boy cravings and an appetite for adventure. The modern day Romeo and Juliet, only for them life was no fairy tale.

Entry #4: Stacy

As she sits quietly, contimplating her life, she glances into the mirror. Heavily she sighs and she knows it is time.
They love each other deeply however, love is not always enough.
She used to believe that love will conquer all but if one is not willing to sacrifice for that love, than it cannot.
They both chose this path, both are to blame and yet both tried.
As Elizabeth sits quietly contimplating her life she gazes into the mirror; she smiles as for the first time, in a long time, she realizes she is finally able to move on.

Since becoming a cop, living on the right side of the law became Lucky’s life, and marrying Elizabeth seemed natural at the time. It sounded like a fairytale, but something was missing. He loved Elizabeth, but he was in love with Sam now.

Unfortunately, she took too many risks.

Sam woke something inside him he had forgotten was even there. He loved how she was game for anything; going with him to Mexico to help his Dad was amazing. He’d always be grateful that she protected his boys. He just couldn’t stand the thought of losing her to the danger.

Entry #6: Isis

Chaos and Port Charles had become synonymous. Mob activity and crime in general had risen as new organizations moved in challenging existing syndicates. The increase in citywide violence forced her to be on duty more often than she cared to be. Sometimes she wished she could just pack up and leave, but she upheld a legacy. Like those before her, she knew the title she held didn’t afford her the luxury of just supervising. The phone rang and she sighed knowingly. Her quiet time over, she hurried down there and prayed it wasn’t him. The next round had begun.

Entry #7: Laina

It was a new year; a time to forgive, forget and move on with their lives.

Jason and Sam were going to have another try at being a couple again and both hoped
things wouldn’t get messed up this time.

They were starting over with a clean slate. Everything that had happened in the past
was going to remain just that; the past.

Now was the time for a second chance for them. Both of them knew things wouldn’t work
out with Lucky and Liz and now they had found love with the person they were
meant to be with.
