According to Clare Coffee...it not Nadine...but Nadine will also 'fade into the background' because Clare's been dropped from contract.

One of the mags had a "headline" on the cover that said "Trevor out" so this makes me think that Trevor is going to be one of the unfortunate ones. I know he's not popular here but it kinda sucks if you ask me. Steven Macht is one of the better actors on the show & it just sucks that they are letting him go.

I despise the character of Trevor but IA that SM is a good actor.

What I find sad is that they brought Trevor on & then just faded him into the backgound. He could have been a catalyst for so many GOOD stories. He has ties to different characters of the show & he could have been the bridge that brought Ric & Sonny together (I personally don't know if I want them buddy/buddy but I know so many who do!)

What bothers me most about the whole thing is that there WAS so much potential here. Ric finally had his father onscreen and there could have been some great stuff written for them, there could have been a great story there, especially given the caliber of actors that Steven Macht and Rick Hearst are. And it was all pissed away in preference of SSDD for GH. Its sad, quite frankly, IMO.

So I am going OT here but how many of you guys think that certain characters are underused, killed-off, taken off the show etc... because of the fans? Ian was a dispictable character yet had the potential to be a great bad character or could have been redeemed but fans were pissed after what happened to Michael. IMO the actor was excellent & could have played the character either way.

Jerry also excellent charactor (SR is great)! However he killed Alan, shot Robin etc... to so many fans (a lot on this board) he was unredeemable. I didn't like the character because I hated the flip-flopping between bad & good however he could have become one of my "love to hate" characters.

I just think its weird that some characters are killed off when it seems so many hate the character but others are redeemed when they commit unthinkable acts.
If the fans don't let any bad guys/girls stay then who will cause the drama? Anywho I was just wondering

I totally understand what you're saying...although in Jerm's case I just wanted him gone.

I agree TrevorS should be used more.

But I'd rather TPTB spend more effort in re-integrating the VETS into the show ...

like Helena Cassadine is the prime example of a bad character that we love to hate...but don't really want to die...she does have a redeeming quality which makes us able to not want her dead.

I just wonder if fan bases were the way they are now back then. LOL

Helena kidnapping the golden child of GH at the time (Lucky) or Faison messing with Robert/Anna etc... Ryan (Kevin's twin) kidnapping Georgie etc... I just wonder if the fans wanted those characters heads on a stick as well. Ya know?

IA that the vets need to be incorporated back into the caqst & s/l's! I want it to become balanced again. I am becomming more hopeful though
