GH had a decent amount of nominations, and ABC fared very well. I can't believe how many noms AMC got!

IMO, the only glaring snub from the pre-noms for GH is Laura Wright. She did some amazing work last year when Michael was shot.

The strangest list however, is the Outstanding Drama Series noms! No GH? No Y&R? No OLTL? Aren't those three always nominated? Also, doesn't outstanding writing and outstanding drama series normally go hand in hand? I don't watch Y&R or OLTL, but I always hear how fabulous they are. It seems a little weird that they weren't nominated. Does anyone think that TPTB will take notice to GH's lack of a nomination and finally make a change with our people in charge? Guza, Phelps, Frons-yeah, I'm talking about you!

I can not believe Laura Wright was not nominated!! That is a travesty.

I,also, find it very strange that Kirsten & JMB are nominated in the Younger Actress category & Spinelli is in the "Supporting Actor" category. I am glad Bradford & Kirsten are both nominated & hope the both win, but I really think he should have been in the "Younger" category as well.

I'm not watching the Daytime Emmys this year. GH has been boring these past few months at least for me anyway.

I can't remember the last time Days was nominated for Drama Series, I really hope they win.

Good grief! Honestly I don't get any of the actors' nominations as I just didn't see that any of them had material to be nominated. And no way in hell the writing staff should be nominated. The only prenom who was anywhere near deserving was Laura Wright and she was ignored. The noms are just bleh! Ah well...LMAO.

The categories are based on the actor's age, not the character's. Bradford just looks younger than he really is! I think he's actually about thirty or so, while Kirsten and Julie are in their early to mid twenties.

At a PA I went to Bradford REFUSED to divulge his age. He made a joke out of it, kept saying ridiculous ages, and then flat out said I don't want to tell you! LOL Of course they way he did it was adorable. I think that Brandon B said he was 29, and that Bradford was "very close to his age."

He didn't deserve to be nominated at all. Or JMB for that matter, what the hell did either one of these people do to deserve the nomination?

From what I heard, they may have both submitted scenes with Genie Francis. So if they win, they should both give their Emmys to her!
