Natural vegetable & fruit wash

Hi - Here's what I learned instead of buying it at the grocery store. You fill up your sink or a bowl with water and about a 1/2 C. white vinegar, put your fruits/vegetables in for a few minutes and then use a veg/fruit brush as you rinse them off. Don't let them soak for more than a few minutes or they will taste vinegar-ey. Things you can brush off (broccoli,califlower,etc.), just rinse off good. I was all my romaine lettuce like this too. The good thing is, it's natural.

I really should do a better job washing my vegies. I get them from a farmers market, not a grocery store, with some execptions where I want to buy organic. Most of the products at teh farmers market are local, except off season, of course, and are better taken care of than the grocery products.
