Loved the talk between Leslie and Ty about plot driven stories and the way the soap genre has changed.

Yes...what her and Ty said was RIGHT ON! Leslie, Jane and Nancy are pretty much othe ONLY ones to speak up about the BS plot-driven shows...could be why they don't get much in the way of s/l...but I so admire them for sticking to their guns.

C'mon...no guess on who she reminds me of?

Here's a hint... She SMILES like one of the people I'm thinking of...

and the other Leslie's way of SAYING things reminds me of them

OK...actress number one...is a MOGUL...a TRADEMARK even...was a dancer in tv ads...then became an actress...starred on a very popular 60s sitcom...starred in movies *one of which co starred Elvis and Jane Elliot*...and turned the world on with her smile in her own 70s sitcom.. WINK WINK MEOW. *if you don't get this one now shame on you*


the OTHER actress...is part of a VERY sucessful family...they direct and produce...she was married to an actor who was the son of another successful actor/director/producer...she starred in a VERY popular 70s sitcom that was a spinoff of another VEYR poppular sitcom ...both were set in another time period ...she went on to direct and prodice some very BIG movies *coughAwakeningscoughALeagurecoughOfTheirOwncoughcough*...Hassenfeffer Incorporated.

Leslie's smile always reminds me of MTM...also some of her mannerisms...

And sometimes the way she executes what she says...and also certain mannerisms remind me of Penny Marshall.
