Anyone else enjoying this s/l?

I don't find it perfect by any means, but by & large, I'm enjoying this crisis. The main complaint is the lack of Alexis...& the minimal Monica. I'm loving JaSam & Spin...Pat's been terrific. I like that Robin's PPD has her struggling to care for Emma, just as all hell's breaking loose @ the hospital. & KMc has just been AMAZING!! Anthony's been hilariously brilliant, Ric's getting his balls back, & everything is kinda moving slow, yet @ a better pace that before. I'm curious to see how this next part plays out...& if the fallout is nice & crazy.

I really am liking this story C. At first it was a little boring but everyone has been doing such a great job that not it's great!

Lack of Alexis...minimal Monica...you KNOW ISIE ain't happy about this...

It would be TOTALLY in character for Monica to be sitting in the hospital bed trying to get a handle on things...trying to pry info from Epiphany who would return the questions with commands to lie back and sit still.

Would it PAIN them to have Patrick check in on her? FORSERIOUSLY SHE's HIS BOSS? Maybe there's something she REMEMBERS...something she can say to him to help him figure out how to fix things.

And Alexis...she should be totally neurotic...her oldest child, her nephew, AND BOTH her baby daddies are in there...and she should be talking to Carly asking her HOW's SONNY...because she better than ANYBODY on the outside would KNOW how he reacts...

I wouldn't mind an actual SCENE of SEXIS on the phone..her trying to talk him out of doing anything ELSE stooopid. *like running around GH with a semi-automatic weapon*...OOOPS...too late...dayum!

Me too. I have loved all the Q stuff, Jasam working together but not being romantic, but I can't stand the LL2 crap they are throwing at us. They haven't been in love for awhile now, and suddenly Lucky is "trying to memorize her face"? I understand she's the mother of his children and his best friend, but he has not been in love with her for more than a year. Sam just broke up with him, and he wanted them to try to work things out. The idiot Guza does this all the time! He couldn't understand why people weren't on board with Liason, but he did the exact same thing with them. Jason was in love with Sam one day, and running after Liz the next. If he would allow things to happen more naturally, maybe they would make more sense to us!

That's exactly how I fell about this whole thing. I just didn't want or need to get my opinon stomped on. I'm actually waiting for a Liason reunion, but I won't get my hopes because Guza is a loser.

Oh, honey, I don't think your opinion would be stomped on. I may not want a Liason reunion, but anyone can see what Guza is doing. Besides, if they would have a Liason reunion, maybe tiic would let Lusam reunite too!

I am really enjoying the crisis!!! I am excited to come home form work every day to see what happened.

I don't like the Luck & Liz stuff, and I keep waiting for her to shoot him down and say "but I am still in love with Jason." I don't see them as getting romantic again, I really don't. I honestly think the Jason pairing is up in the air till Steve decides on whether he will renew his contract this year.

I can't wait till Monday!!!

P.S. On a side note, I love coming to this board. I love being with people who actually watch the show. We all agree that Guza sucks, but even though I am in the minority fanbase, I feel that I am surrounded by fellow GH fans who understand my love for the show. Thank you for that friends!!

I have another revelation about Guza. All of his "loves" have done that to him. All in love with him, but the next day, they're in love with another guy. I can't say I blame those hoes lol!

Kathy I totally agree with what you said about being on a board where folks ACTUALLY WATCH THE SHOW...

I gets a bit tiring when ppl have nothing but negative things to say about a show theydon't currently WATCH...

If they're not watching...then they don't see ALL of what's going on...therefore they have NOTHING to compare it too...and TBH since December GH has been GOOD....GOOD in a way it hadn't been in YEARS...

I hope you all are CALLING and WRITING...it is VERY IMPORTANT that we COMMUNICATE with the STUDIO...TPTB and THE ACTORS...

THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM US!!!

They need to know what is good and what isn't..

If you're loving the increased airtime for the Quartermaines...PLEASE WRITE IN AND CALL AND EMAIL...etc...

Same for ALEXIS...you wanna see MORE ALEXIS...TELL THEM!!!

This Crisis thing is GOOD...it could be SOO much more...and we've already stated HOW it could be better...TELL THEM!!!

Just think if ALL the members of this board alone actually wrote ONE note or made ONE phone call...what good it would do for the VETS esp...but the good of the show in general.

ICAM, Isis...we need to write...& IA that it's so nice to come here & not hear, "Well, I'm not watching the show, but here's what I hated about today's show...." If you ain't watching, how in the blue hell do you know EXACTLY how things played out? You don't, you're taking someone else's negative opinion & making it your own. I don't understand that logic, I don't let anyone tell me how to feel about ANYTHING, so why do that w/ my TV viewing? Doesn't make sense to me.

But I'm really digging this s/l...despite the issues previously mentioned. I think those who aren't watching the show, don't realize they are actually missing some of the best GH has had to offer in quite a while. I just hope this cast integration continues, & continues on a larger scale so we see more of Alexis & the Qs, more family time, etc.

Of course there have been certain things missing but on a larger scale the show has been great (IMO, as always)! I can finally feel things coming together yet I still have NO clue what's going to happen next (where all the peices will land).

Here's why I think this is working right now:
For the past year, maybe longer, TIIC had seperated the cast. For example we ONLY seen Spin w/ Jason, Lulu or Maxie. We only seen Liz w/ Lucky, Sam, Jason or at work. Robin acts like she has no other friends than work ones. Sam only talked to the quad or her mom. You guys get what I am saying.

Since Dec. we have seen them mixing the cast up. I am GLAD they had the partners on the outside ie... Luke, Johnny, Maxie, Jax, Robin, etc.... Finally Spinelli was working w/ Sam, Pat etc... Patrick is talking with all the mobsters LOL, Carly was able to interact w/ Edward & Tracy & then the usuals. How long has it been sionce Trevor & Carly interacted?? I Loved Maxie & Johnny on the outside!!! I also LOVED that they found Robin & Emma. Before all the toxic & stuff we got to see Sam w/ Az & Ric, Sam & Spin etc... We got as glimpse of Nic & Liz & the other day Nic & Robin!

This is why IMO GH is working so well right now. I SERIOUSLY hope they keep mixing it up!

Oh yeah & I like Ethan & I cannot wait to figure out who he is!

But back to the topic at hand. I agree with you ladies on peeps who don't watch the show, yet want to poison it for the rest of us.

GH has gotten a lot better and I too hope that it continues that way. I'm still mad that Johnny and Maxie didn't go at it. He has so much for chemistry with Maxie than his current pairing.

Well, I guess I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would, because I'm not rushing home to watch with urgency. I haven't even watched yesterdays ep yet.
But, I do think it has been a good s/l for the most part. I am liking JoMax, Robin's PPD & Carly is just too cute in her scrubs & ponytail. While I think the Luke & Ethan s/l seems out of place during this whole crisis (Luke should be trying to break into the hospital to get to his family right about now...) I really like Ethan so far. He reminds me of Heath in "10 Things I Hate About You". As long as he doesn't end up being Dante', I'm gonna like him alot.

I'm loving the extra Q time & Eddie's scenes with Carly... fighting tears

Maybe I'll get to watch yesterdays episode on my lunch break...

When I was at SOC, half the peeps there did nothing but talk shit about GH, but at the same time they didn't watch. They tried to "clip it" together on youtube. I hated reading their garbage. I don't uderstand why you go to a board to talk about a show you used to like, but don't like anymore. I hate to hear people saying GH is boring them, then mother fucker, turn the TV off and STFU. IMO as always.

As frustrating & aggravating as the show can be at times (LnL2 barfing

) I would never call it boring... & I don't think I would ever stop watching. I don't ffwd scenes (well Lulu, but just that one time) I'm an addict. I just get busy sometimes & the eps pile up for a couple of days, but I prefer to watch when I can give the show my undivided attention. flower

Most of the GH hate I experience is from the couple fanboards I still visit every now and then. I have made friends that I would miss if I left one in particular completely, so I pop in every now and then to say hi. I like to read fanfic when I get the chance, and the Liason boards are the only place I can go to to get my current fav couple. I have to stay out of the GH threads cause it's all bashing and "why I don't watch this show anymore." The boards are still popular because people have made friends, and they also enjoy the fanfics, but since no one is watching there is not much else to talk about. A couple people only go to YT to watch the scrubs scenes and that's it. They won't watch the show. I gave up telling to how great things were, and just post in off-topic, read the latest fic update, and go along my merry way.
