"Spumor" theory...you heard it here first!

Ok, just tossing my theory out there....if these "spumors" (spoiler/rumors) turns out to be true.

There is a "spumor" that was dropped at Dish this week that says that Ric wants his job back as district attorney in the month of March but Alexis will fight him for it. There is also a "spumor" that two actresses are being released out of their contracts in the next six months (but they said they can't give names). I know I've been saying for a while now that I suspect Alexis will be gone by the end of the year. IF both of these "spumors", I think that the month of March is going to be VERY telling in what we're going to see in Alexis' future.

I truly believe that if we see this supposedly happening battle over the DA position and the job is given to Ric over Alexis for whatever reason, that's going to be the final nail in the coffin for the character of Alexis. If you think about it, almost every scene Alexis has had since at least October has been in the capacity of district attorney (granted I haven't watched since mid January as you know, but I've read recaps & it seems that this was the case in the five or six appearances she's had since then). If the job is taken away from her, what has she got left? She no longer has Kristina & Molly (though there is word that at least Kristina is going to be SORASd, but I suspect that she'll be more involved with Sonny, Claudia, Carly, Sam and the teens....but that's another theory post altogether...LOL), she doesn't even have a house anymore (nearly every scene for almost a year has been in her office). What is she going to do? Fight with Sam and Jason about their relationship? TIIC refuse to give Alexis a leading man. She doesn't have any real friends left as half of her scenes with Jax have him chastising her for being concerned about his marriage to Carly, Diane is a two faced, backstabbing bitch and when was the last time she had a "friend" scene with Kate? I just don't see anything left for her to do.

As I always say when I wax on about this, I truly hope I'm wrong but if this alleged spoiler about the fight over the DA position is true and we see Ric given the job of DA, I honestly believe that's the final death knell for the character of Alexis (as I said in the subject line, you are hearing it here first).

As a friend of mine & I always say, "Wait & see".

Anyhow, I just needed to vent and thanks for letting me do it here...LOL.
