Jake's and Karaoke

I was just wondering why everyone is spending so much time at Jake's all of a sudden. They are randomly making people friends like Johnny and Patrick were all buddy buddy the other day it was just weird. I do have to say I'm loving the karaoke...I wouldn't mind seeing Sam sing a sexy song while Jason was hanging out at the bar...I'm just saying!

I don't know but I'm a purist & I wish they had left Jake's alone. I liked it being a bit of a dive. I think that if they wanted a karaoke place, they could have either 1) had it be in the Haunted Star since that's more Luke's thing anyway (the live performance thing) or 2) had a new place open up in PC. Maybe either have one of the current folks own and run it or bring in a new guy for one of the existing ladies. The karaoke thing just kinda takes some of the edge off of Jake's and I'll miss that.

That being said....the performances were kinda cute...LOL.

Lately it seems like everyone goes there. You only see Kelly's and The Metro Court restaurant every once in a great while. I'm beginning to wonder if something big is going to happen there and they are just leading up to it by having everyone there 24/7.

Good call. And they haven't really had a "big event" happen for sweeps in a while, so they are due for one sometime soon. I could see something happening at Jake's.

Side note: I like that people are hanging out at Jakes! It reminds me of the Outback because that place was always neutral territory. You never knew who you would see in there & it was a good way to mix the cast together. I also like that t here are starting to be different interactions at Jake's because IMO the cast has become too segregrated. Though I would like to see some more peeps start showing up there. Carly, should have been at Karaoke w/ Jax, Johnny could have been there w/ Olivia w/ both Maxie & Lulu singing , Robin & Liz didn't even look like they said hello at the bar , Mac would have been good there ~ completely embarrassed by Maxie dancing around & singing to Spinelli, Monica watching em's twin (she could have sat w/ lucky & not drank), I know there was differing opinions but Alexis could have been there w/ Diane letting loose after the week she had , Lainey & Kelly definetely should be there! Okay I am done sorry!

Maybe it;s just where I live, but karoyake is only found in dives and diners. Mostly the dives...and only the diners with bars attached. I could never picture a karyaoke in a casino...nope. A bar in a separate room at a casino, but not in a gambling area. ITA with PC needing a club again. Repoen the Outback!

Oh, I live in NJ. Famous for it's diners and casinos.

KATHY, I would love for the Outback to reopen!!!!

Lulu asked COleman and he agreed for another karyoake night - so maybe we'll get some more singing!!!

While we are waiting, I am going to look the word up and find out how to spell it, lol.
