A girl fell asleep at the wheel eight years ago, crossed the center line, and hit my grandpa head on. They both died instantly. I was so scared that it would happen to someone else I love. I'm still terrified when Mike drives tired.

That happened to me when I went to China...scariest thing EVER!! Luckily, they were hella cool & I had a new passport less than 48 hours later.

Honestly, it could've been so much worse...I was surprised @ how cool they were about it, considering that China's a pretty locked down country, in some respects. The thing that took the longest in the whole process was just waiting for them to make me a new passport (took about 2 hours). You should definitely travel, I had a fantastic time, despite losing my passport.
