Great Kelly Monaco article in SID

I just got the latest issue of SID and there is an awesome article about Kelly! I don't want to put it here word for word, but it's about how she had problems as a teenager and was able to put them behind her. She was in a mental institution for 45 days at age 16 because she was having problems with the law. She stole her first car at 13, broke into people's houses, etc. Her parents and a judge decided this would be more beneficial than juvinile detention. This sounds terrible, but it was really a turning point for her, because she saw people in the mental institution who had bigger problems than her. It helped her put it all into perspective, and turn her life around.

It just amazes me to see what she has come from, and makes me love her more!

I love to hear stuff like that. It sounds like she didn't have such a bright future and now she is shinning to much. Now she has the love and support of people all over the place.

So she went from a mental institution to posing nude? I can see how a screwed up childhood would make you do something like that. Interesting info, thanks for sharing!

There are kids who would let getting into that kind of trouble get the better of them. Kelly could have continued down the path she was going. She could have had a life of crime, turned to drugs, or committed suicide. She let a very negative experience open her eyes. She may not have chosen a way to success that some of us would, but regardless of how any of us feel about her beginnings we cannot deny that she has not let anything hold her back. I for one, am very proud to be her fan.

I read that article and I liked it.

I really don't think one has ANYTHING to do with the other. I've never been offered money to pose nude, but if Playboy came calling, I doubt I would turn them down...I don't have any problems w/ nudity. & I grew up just fine, two loving parents, a great family, & NO stays in a mental institution or jail.

I commend Kelly for finding her way out of the darkness & into a better life. I'm proud to call myself her fan.
