Question for former Quad fans (regardless of which pairing you liked the most)

So given the current s/l of the Quad and discounting any spoilers that you may have read I was wondering where everyone stands now.

LnL2: i'll start here since they were the original pairing out of the quad.

I fell in love w/ this couple when they first begun! But for me it changed when the OG Lucky (JJ) died in the fire. Afterwards it didn't bother me when they were together but I wasn't devastated when they were apart either. It always seemed to me that the magic was gone and it was two people trying to hold on to a HS love (1st love). They are however great friends & i would like the friendship t remain intact. Lucky did do Liz wrong w/ the whole Maxie situation & at that time it was VERY unprovoked by Liz & he was becoming borderline abusive. I get that Liz did wrong afterwards but IMO the marraige was done by the time Liz slept w/ Jason. Anywho she did major damage after the fact by lying and marrying him to save him. The love was great while it lasted but IMO time to move on.

Question for them: Does anyone want them back together? Has too much damage been done?

Jasam: i loved this couple and I thought they were fun & great together but I no longer want them together! Jason threatened to kill her, lied to her, & IMO orchestrated the whole situation by listening to Alexis & the whole "I'm too dangerous for you crap". he drove her to Ric's arms IMO & had no right to feel betrayed when she did sleep w/ him. Sam's bad was the whole kidnapping thing & sleeping w her mom's husband. Although at one time I loved and rooted for this couple for me it's over and it became too destructive! i LOVE independant Sam! The Sam who's whole life does not revolve around one person!

Question about them: If they put them back together & Sam get's pregnant ~ is she a bad mom for staying w/ him? What's the difference? Would you accept a reconciliation?

Liason: I wanted them to have a chance to be an actual couple & if it didn't work then hey at least they tried instead of always wondering what would have been. I don't care about the whole Jason is dangerous crap. Didn't care about it when jason was with Robin, Courtney, or Sam ~ i don't care about it w/ Liz. it makes for good drama (When TIIC are not constantly throwing it in the viewers faces), I watch soaps because they get to lead a life I never will, probably wouldn't want to even if I could, I get to root for villians and bad people, cheer on seductresses, and cheer on poeple geting shot (Kate)! So of course I wouldn't apply my morals to the show. Laura, Anna, Bobbie, Carly, & Alexis have all dated/married/ slept w/ men who would bring danger to their children & they were not crucified the way this relationship was. BUT the s/l was not about the constant danger and instead it made for a good soap. But I am not sure where they can go w/ the way they have painted both Jason & Liz into a corner. As of right now though I'll still accept a relationship between the two. After that if/when (it is a soap after all) it doesn't work then I would want them both to go to completely new loves.

Question for them: Regardless whether you like them or not do you think they can continue the relationship w/o completely ruining the characters? Do you want them to just stop it now or give them a chance to be in an actual relationship?

Lusam: The most unlikely love w/ IMO the best possibilities! You have a Cassadine and a Spencer (Once again), an adventure junky and the home bodied cop, the love that grew out of hurt. A while back I would have labeled this relationship a rebound but it no longer is! They have made it there own, they have a great chance if written right but will it be! Instead of having Lucky and Sam struggle over there differences they should be having Sam bring out the adventurous Lucky that made his way from Canada to PC at ten years old, who fights feircly for his friends and family, and who grown up knowing all the things Sam was taught at a young age. No matter how you look at it Luke & Laura taught Lucky to be a con artist when he was young. They actually have a lot more in common then TIIC portray (one conned to get money, the other becuase they were on the run from mobsters). They could also have Lucky bring out the maternal loving side of Sam, which IMO he already does. Regardless of what happens he will always be a part of Cakes life and things like the camping trip was great for Sam!

So question for them: Even if Jason wants Sam back do you want her to leave Lucky? Do you see a future here?
I like the current pairings and I think if they were done right, now that they all are not fighting 24/7 they could actually enhance the show tying in the hospital, families, mob, etc... together but it would have to be written right w/o a complete focus on them!

I'll say this, if LuSam ends, it will not break my heart up like when JaSam ended.

Sam (IMO) has been, the best person for Jason. I didn't see him love the way he did her. But, Sam was weaker when she was with him, she's a lot stronger now. I could one day down the road see JaSam, but he would have to beg like hell after threating her over Liz. If Sam did get pregnant I don't think she would be a bad mom for staying cause if you're a kid in PC you're already in danger. Plus, she can hadle his life better and would be better prepared for the sake of her child.

I think LnL2 has been damaged too much and I don't think I could stomack that couple again. She really dogged him and I would lose respect for Lucky. Liz has always had Luckys balls in her pocket, so if they got back together I would feel sorry for him.

I think Liason is dead, but LuSam stand a chance.

If you had to choose would it be Lucky or Jason???

I know how you feel! Especially after Lucky today but I still have seen a happier more independent Sam w/ Lucky & I don't want that to change

I was just going to say with the way Lucky treated her, Jason can have her. But, IDK.

Lusam would definitely stick together. If Liason do break up (I doubt that will happen), I wouldn't mind seeing Elizabeth with Patrick. I've liked them together as co-workers and if Robin weren't in the picture, Elizabeth/Patrick would work for me.

IA that Patrick & Liz look hot together HOWEVER that would mean my girl Robin getting screwed (NO, NO, NO)! I say IF Liason is over then try her with Matt, they can always bring Jagger back for her as well! If those won't work then she needs a guy who is adventurous but not related to the mob!

Jagger isn't in the mob, but he deals with it everyday. The worst part is that he locks those animals up, animals hate to be caged up. They could come after Liz and CaKe too.
I say for a safe bet, Matt. That way Robin and Liz can be sister in laws, they're already friends.

Yeah but that's like saying Lucky shouldn't be w/ anyone w/ kids since he is a cop or Mac or Alexis shouldn't be the DA since she has kids. I just fear that Liz would get backburned if they keep it too safe. Matt could be good & I would love for her & Robin to be related but they would have to keep it interesting as well!

Okay, this is how I see it. As much as I loved Jasam, I love how independent Sam is without him. I also think that she has been much happier since being with Lucky, so even if Jason wanted her back, I'd much rather her stay with Lucky.

I would like to see Liason break up, because they are very boring to me, and it has made me hate Lizzard more than I ever thought possible and even hate Jason at times. I do not ever want to see Lucky go back to Liz though, even if Lusam breaks up. I don't think that she is good enough for him, and while he was definitely in the wrong when he was cheating with Maxie, I think that what Liz did to him was much worse.

I would ultimately like to see Jasam become close friends, but I want Lusam to stay together and get married and share custody of CaKe! I would want Liz and Jason far away from each other, and I think that Liz and Matt would be okay. If she would not be a bitch to Sam, and fade into the background slightly, my hate might calm a little. A little.

Liason bores me...& I don't watch soaps to be bored...so I never want to see that pairing again. It's like watching paint dry. LnL2 is the only pairing that didn't make me want to shoot Liz in the face, so I wouldn't have a problem w/ them getting back together...but only if they deal w/ Lucky's insecurities & Liz's mothering instincts coming into play with her husband. I really enjoy LuSam, but I think their only chance is similar to LnL2's problems...Lucky's insecurity & controlling nature. If they can't get past that, they have no chance. Plus, there's Sam's need for adventure which Lucky seems unable (or unwilling) to fulfill--unless these issues are resolved satisfactorily, I don't see LuSam lasting past next summer. As for JaSam...like LnL2, they fit into each other's worlds & work well together. BUT, & it's a big BUT, I didn't like co-dependent Sam--so for them to be together, I'd have to see independent Sam stick around. Also, there are some major death threats to get past as well.

But that's why this is a soap & not real life...any of these couples could find a way back to each other...I just hope Liason is the unsuccessful one.

This is a hard one for me to answer. I want to see Liason have a chance. I fin dit hard to understand why people say they are boring when they have never been a real out-in-the-open couple. They have not had the opportunity to be boring, IMO.

I do not want to see JaSam back together, caseu I likethe independent Sam as well. She does not need to be with Jason, she has proven she can be on her own and take care of herself. I like Lusam is boring...but when tehy went to Mexico it was fun. I would like to see Sam bring out the adventurous Lucky as well.

I do NOT want to see LL2 back together - they are better as friends.

If Liz had to move on, I think it would be interesting to see her with Matt. While Liz & Pat do have chemistry, I like Scrubs too much to break them up.
