The GH Nurses' Ball....

OH what memories...

I miss when they did this...you got to see just how REALLY talented the cast was...they pretty much found something for EVERYBODY to do...

Here's one of my favorites...1995..Wizard of Oz theme...

Emily as Dorothy...Tony as the Scarecrow...Kevin as the Tin Woodsman...and Alan...I mean Sydney the Bear as the Cowardly Lion...PRICELESS!!!

Yeah I really miss stuff like that on GH...it made it DISTINCT...NOBODY was doing stuff like that till GH *I believe AMC's Crystal ball came later*

I put up this thread because as I find GOODIES I'll post them in here.

I MUST go back and find the clip from 94 when MONICA was actually IN a performance....*in 97 she was in the opening but 94 was her only PERFORMANCE I believe*

I'm hoping that they ARE LISTENING TO US and plan to make POSITIVE changes...

We're getting a bit of what we asked for...let's see how far they go with it! I think I read somewhere that what we see on screen today was actually written like 2ish months ago, so it takes time to catch up. That's why we're just hearing more and more about the bad economy onscreen.

IF they brought back the NB I would LOVE it but I think the reference was just about Robin & that's it! Long lost are the days that GH actually made groundbreaking stories never done on soaps! But now we get groundbreaking stunts ~ Sorry to be negative but...

Howvever the references of the past & the integration of the cast has been making me happy!!!

Back to the Nurses Ball! My FAVE moments are:

Jason carrying Robin off stage!
Brenda & girls singing a money song in black outfits & hats LOL (I forgot the song) but anywho, it was when she was w/ Jax & Sonny & Jason walk in they had been off handling business & all eyes are on them! The look between Brenda & Sonny can melt any heart wink

Any scene between Lucy & Katherine!
All the girls w/ their Dads/grandpas/uncles singing Girls just wanna have fun! TOO CUTE!
There's more but I am only on my 1st cup of coffee!

Funny...was that the last time GH had a group of interns or residents? I can't remember a group in recent years. Oh yeah, I know now. It's cause it's not a show about a hospital anymore, it's a show about the mob.

Thanks Kathy...I had been meaning to post that but I've been preoccupied with banner making and such.

It is the ONLY time *aside fomr the 1997 opening*...I believe that MOnica was actually IN the show.

and it wa SOOOO funny...and fitting to have her be one of them bad @$$ babies...but I must say I didn't think Simone would pull it off but she did...and I LURVED how Monica and Simone were beating up on Kevin *who was bad @$$ baby in the middle*...and then he turns and bops Monica in the head and she goes "OW!*...soo funny.
