Coke Salad Recipe

Here's a recipe that a friend of mine gave me

It's called Coke Salad:

Coke Salad
1 lb (16 oz) can bing cherries(will either be on the canned fruit aisle or pie filling aisle)
1 lb 4 oz(20 oz) can crushed pineapple
6 oz(or 2 three oz) package black cherry jello
1 can coke(anything dark and carbonated will work)
1 c pecans(walnuts will work too)
Drain juice from fruit into measuring cup.
Add water to make 2 cups. Heat juice to boiling.
Add jello, stir to dissolve. Cool. Add coke, nuts, fruit. Chill.
