SoapNet Sneek Peeks 9/29/08

Did we say big drama would go down at Sonny's (Maurice Benard) wedding or what? With someone lying on the ground in a pool of blood, Sonny is mad. For many reasons, not the least of which is that he paid for an open bar and now no one's gonna partake. He becomes convinced Karpov was behind the shooting, so he tells Jason he wants back in the mob to take a direct shot at the Russian. Which, of course, means Jason (Steve Burton) and his entire crew would be declaring war on Karpov. Jason's a lover, not a fighter (okay, not really), but that's a pretty big sacrifice to make for a friend. Think he'll take up Sonny on his demands or fight back and start a war of another kind?

Poor Sonny doesn't realize the true mastermind is Anthony Zaccahara (Bruce Weitz). Anthony WANTS Sonny to think Karpov's the killer, so he can start a war between Sonny and Jason. Sound like convoluted reasoning? Watch. It weirdly makes sense when he explains it. Even though he's crazy.

We've been hinting that Kate's (Megan Ward) cousin Olivia (Lisa Lo Cicero), who we love even though she kind of scares us (because she could probably kick our butt without dropping an earring), will be the key to a huge story coming Sonny's way. Well, this week we find out some very startling information about Sonny that could change "General Hospital" forever. And what does Patrick (Jason Thompson) have to do with this?

Love is blooming amongst all these hijinks, as Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and Nadine (Claire Coffee) have sex for the first time! Nadine's such a screwball, we hope she doesn't fall out of bed afterwards.

All this plus Robin (Kimberly McCullough) throws everyone (and us) for a loop with a surprising move, Carly (Laura Wright) may get a new business partner, Tracy (Jane Elliot) kicks some butt, and someone drives a boat into a freighter. Get a map!
