This section will be for backstage news, gossip, & other fun tidbits. Basically, whenever I hear something juicy, or even mildly damp, I'll put it in this thread. I'm also aware that many of us are spoiler-free, so I'll do my best to keep any spoilers out of the discussion. Or at least put the spoilerish info in white, so only those who read spoilers get that part of the info.

Also, if there are rumors you've heard, or are curious about, feel free to ask me about them here...& I'll do my best to try to confirm or deny the rumors. Any other backstage questions or requests for information on certain actors can also be addressed here. I'll be updating as information becomes available.

I'll try to find out for sure, one way or the other. But @ the moment, this is an issue of dueling insiders. Some say she's on her way (as a new character), others that it's all a big rumor.

For now, I would say that she ISN'T coming, @ least not anytime soon, b/c she just wrapped a film & has another coming up that I believe she's both acting in & co-producing. So I don't see where she'd have time to fit GH into her schedule, @ least not before summer. But the second I hear she's coming back from a LEGIT source, I'll post it here.

Here's a little tidbit of other info to tide everyone over (since it's really hard to confirm backstage gossip):

Rumors had it that KeMo went to Frons to get JaSam back & this whole kidnapping story is basically her fault. That has now been refuted. KeMo DID go to Frons (NOT for JASAM), but she also had her agent & a stenographer there b/c they had to hammer out an agreement so that she could use one of her outs in her contract to do her Vegas peep show.

But there are some major rumors flying that both KeMo & SBu KNEW a possible JaSam reunion was on the table as far back as March. But that GV & BH have been completely blindsided by it. Spoilerish info ahead:

I don't think NL has any plans to return. It'd be too early for her to come back. I won't believe it until I see Natty on screen or I read it from the ABC Soaps Hot sheet.

Okay, I hadn't checked my gossip & spoiler sites before posting earlier.

Natalia Livingston is coming back to GH.

For those who are spoiler-free, never fear! Her s/l info is on the serious DL. All that is known is that she is NOT returning as Emily Quartermaine. Her character's name is Rebecca & it is speculated that she will share scenes with TC. (No big surprise there.)

According to my sources, her first airdate is January 12th.

I was in another site when I came across this link. It shows Natalia, LW & TC talkiing about her return. They don't give too much away, just that her name will be Rebecca & what type of personality she will have.

I was just coming by to post this here & you beat me to it, Stace. I for one am excited at her return, but why did they bother killing Em if they are just gonna bring Natty back.

I guess Stuartwill be coming back as an Alan lookalike next ~as my eyes roll right outta my head.~ Dumdasses, figured out that killing off all of the Q's was a bad idea.

At the time I had heard that it was NL that wanted out w/ the option to come back. But I don't know how true that is. If written right the story could be great but we'll just have to wait & see.

Here's some BIs from Daytime Confidential (not necessarily about GH):

*Fans of this soap won't have to worry about a certain villainous character monopolizing airtime like he or she did in the past. The character is only being brought back long enough to be killed off once and for all, however don't be surprised if part of this controversial character "lives on". Think: The Bold and the Beautiful's Storm Logan.

*We hear a particular soap vixen isn't happy that the popular pairing she's currently in is being scrapped so she can be paired again with a former leading man. The actress in question realizes she will get more airtime with her former lead, however she is enjoying working with her current onscreen beau. With at least three of the actors in this quadrangle unhappy, will the network rethink their strategy?

*The upcoming exit of a popular soap character and the actress who plays her could result in a.) the character's iconic former love returning to escort her off the canvas. b.) the character being presumed dead in a very deja vu manner or c.) the character being killed off for real.

"Hollywood is getting rid of a lot of the people who have screwed up the motion picture and primetime television industries," says a source. "It won't be long before they start looking at daytime. They have to in this climate."

I can never figure out BI's but here's my guesses

IDK the answers, but I think you're right on the Jesse's daughter thing (on AMC)...it's either her or Randi (but I have no idea about the actress who plays Randi--NO CLUE on whether she's already contract or if she's still recurring).

& I believe that Days of Our Lives is the only other soap filmed on the W.C. (but I could be wrong).

I thought y'all would enjoy this:

Insider: Bob Guza arrived at the studio yesterday morning. He spent most of his day in his office. Around 2:00 pm he packed his SUV with boxes, left, returned a couple of hours later, packed his SUV with boxes and left again. No one knows why. He could have just been taking things home to work on over the holidays. But he's the one that did it.

Question: Really? Uh huh. Well I'd Luuuuve this to be true but Bob's contract isn't up till end of march/early April. Soooo,Frons either is buying out the last few months of Guza's contract like he did MMT's (which I doubt the show can afford) and the show will be written by committee until a new HW is named OR Bob is simply packing up junk for the holidays.

Insider: Yeah, it really happened and its caused some rumors but there's no confirmation of anything having happened. He may have just decided to take some things home. I don't know what all was in his office so its hard to spec but there's no one claiming to know for sure he's been fired, or quit, or anything like that. He just packed up some things and left with them. So don't get too excited.

Question: Do TPTB know how much viewers want Guza gone as HW?

Insider: I don't know but based on all the spec that has gone on about this I'd say a lot of the crew and actors want him gone.
