"Face of Deception" all over again?

So, Kate's going to have a contest for the cover of her magazine. I guess it was a fun s/l for Liz & Gia back when Laura owned Deception. So why not use it again? LOL We got some great eye sex between Liz & Jason and long white gloves...sigh.

Anyway, it's Sunday and I am bored. Let's make some guesses on who will be the top two ladies duking it out. Could it be Maxie & Lulu? Or will we get some new characters...like the one Natalia Livingston is going to b eplaying? She was dressed very nicely in the promo.

What do you all think??

I'm sure it won't happen this way, but I'd love for Sam to be up for this one. She's absolutely beautiful, and everyone is always saying she needs a career. Other than that, I think that Maxie would be a natural. How awesome would it be to have the model be someone who actually knows something about fashion and works in the biz behind the scenes as well.

Because Maxie and Lulu work behind the scenes...I should hope they THEY could not even be in the contest...I like Maxie as a behind the scenes person...it sets her up for future bidness endeavors...


I think Rebecca will be one of the contestants...and I agree Sam would be AWESOME...she's edgy...yet feminine...just what Kate was describing.

I agree with Clarity on this. I'm not up for Kate to replay the "Face of Deception" s/l. It just won't look right. Having a contest won't prove anything and it'd make Kate and the magazine look stupid and cheesy. I'll probably just when that storyline shows up. Rebecca being a model doesn't sit well with me at all. I must have missed the new promo, because I didn't see it.

I just thought of something. They are doing the same story right now on AMC. Erica and Greenlee decided that Randi couldn't be the face of Fusion anymore because Greenlee found some porn of Randi from her past. Erica announced that they would be having a contest searching the nation for the next 'Face of Fusion'. Now I am sure there is nothing good going on here, but wouldn't it be interesting if Erica and Greenlee and Kate discovered the same face and had a great crossover story where they competed for whoever it was? Then they could come to a compromise and feature the Face of Fusion exclusively in Crimson? Unfortunately, tiic aren't that creative, they're probably just copying off each other!

These storylines are not new and yeah you're right they are copying off of each other. That is another reason why I won't be watching that stupid contest storyline. I bet the "Big Event" is the contest. It would be interesting to see a cross over, but as good as that sounds, we probably won't get another crossover. We already had one with AMC and OLTL.

Remember Brenda was the face of Deception? Maybe this is how they will get her back...but I guess she would be too old now...not in the right demographic? They mentioned that they wanted someone in their target demographic...that would technically make Emily too old, right? So if Rebecca is a long lost twin or something, she would be the same age, so if Liz is too old, then Rebecca should be too old too.

Maybe Liz will get another shot at it. I think I remember that Gia won, right Isis?
