Since when does Sonny have a tv?

So today all of a sudden Sonny has a tv? scratch

Have you ever seen that tv before? lol!

This always happens. Not one person has a tv until some big crisis happens or it's for the storyline.

Sonny has always had a TV & DVD player in his living room...you usually can't see it b/c of the way the show is shot. The last time we saw it (I can't remember when Michael watched it)...was back in 2005. Manny sent JaSam a DVD of him cutting the bullet (that Sam fired @ him) out of his stomach...talking about Sam marking him & that he was going to mark her. Hopefully, that last part will jog y'alls memory.

JaSam took the DVD to Sonny's, so he can see what Manny did, & they watched the DVD on that same TV & DVD player.

Re: TV...it's never seen till it's needed...think of ALLL the shows where you ONLY SEE the TV when they just so happen to be watching it. Happens ALL the time.

It just seems silly to me that we only see the tv when it's part of the story.

If you really think about it, how many times do you see a TV in any soap unless it's apart of the scene that day.

To me, it's not really about watching them watch tv, it just makes it more realistic to have a tv. Everyone has a tv, but in Port Charles no one does? That just doesn't make sense.

Right, all it really needs to be is more set dressing. It doesn't have to be a focal point, but (I think Joey Tribbiani said this, but I could be mistaken) if you don't have a tv what does all your furniture point to? lol!
